Job Purpose

The Account Executive for the Kenyan market is tasked with spearheading PaySpace’s growth initiatives in Kenya. This role is dedicated to forging new business relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and driving revenue growth by adapting PaySpace solutions to meet the unique needs of the Kenyan market.

Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Excellence: Establish and nurture strong, culturally attuned relationships with Kenya's business community, adhering to PaySpace values and ensuring exceptional service standards.

Localised Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within Kenya, using market-specific insights to tailor proposals and marketing initiatives that resonate locally.

Mentorship and Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the Kenya-based sales team, leveraging your expertise to enhance their understanding of local market dynamics and sales strategies.

Strategic Account Management: Manage critical accounts focusing on long-term growth and satisfaction, ensuring strategies are well-adapted to the Kenyan business environment.

Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to gain insights into Kenya's competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends, informing PaySpace's strategy and offerings.

Implementation Oversight: Oversee the smooth transition of projects from sales to implementation, considering the specific challenges and requirements of the Kenyan market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a closely related field, with a preference for candidates possessing deep knowledge of the Kenyan market.
  • At least 5 years of sales or marketing experience, with a proven track record in a similar role, preferably within Kenya or a similar market.
  • Strong understanding of Kenyan business practices, regulatory environment, and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative in driving sales and business growth.
