Job Purpose

Sell our great Saas Payroll & HR product to UK SMB customers

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Drive PaySpace's growth through outbound prospecting efforts, generating sales leads into opportunities and closed business

Qualifying Leads:

  • Conduct high-level conversations with prospects to identify their needs and qualify their interest in PaySpace's products and services
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of each lead generation process, supporting marketing activities, prospect touchpoints, and the handoff to an Account Executive

Appointment Setting:

  • Schedule meetings or product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set

CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system

Follow-Up:

  • Execute targeted follow-up campaigns to nurture leads and move them through the sales funnel

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimise lead generation and qualification processes
  • Learn from our seasoned sales team and help build out our world-class Sales Playbook and Tech Stack

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
  • Experience in HR tech or fintech would be a plus!
  • You have a way with words and can write email copy and sequence campaigns that convert
  • You have experience selling into the UK&I market across various customer segments and industries
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a tea
  • You are a native English speaker
  • Thrive in a global remote team environment
  • Located in the UK or elsewhere in EMEA, within GMT +/- 1 hour time zone
